We’re Singing This Sunday

We are singing this Sunday, May 11th during the 8:15 AM Service.   We will meet in the church nursery at 8:00 A.M.  We hop you will be able to join us for the special Mother’s Day service.  

 

Parent Teacher Conferences

I have completed the assessments for all the students in our class.   I would like to meet with each family to discuss their child’s progress this school year.   There are sign-up sheets on the table outside preschool listing available conference times.  If none of the times listed work for you, please see Ms. Patty to arrange a time that works for everyone.  

 

Preschool Graduation

Our preschool graduation will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 3 P.M in the church here at Christ Lutheran.  Please feel free to invite as many people as you would like to attend.   We will be having a cookie party immediately following the ceremony.   We ask each family to bring their favorite cookies to share.  The children will wear a cap and gown.   Your tuition, extended care, and lunch accounts must be paid in order for your child to participate in the ceremony.   Please see Mrs. Blea in the school office if you have any questions concerning your accounts.   Congratulations to:

Last Day of School

Our last day of school is Friday, May 23, 2008.  School will be dismissed at 10:30 AM.  Extended Care is available from 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM, but there is not extended care after 10:30 AM.  The schedule for this morning includes our last chapel service and watching the teachers challenge the 8th graders to a baseball game.     

 

Family Field Trips 

Our final field trip will be to the zoo on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.   We will meet in the large park in the middle of the zoo at 12:15-12:30 for a picnic lunch and then we will explore the zoo.  

 

Prayer requests

·        For Ms. Patty’s friend who is fighting late stage cancer.

·        For our Preschool Parent who was recently burned.

·        For our Preschool Parent who has an injured foot.

·        For our Preschool Family who is expecting a new baby.

·        For all who are not feeling well.

·        For families who are be going through difficult times.

·        For families who are separated from each other due to moving, jobs, etc.
