There are many different types of monkeys, such as chimpanzees, gorillas, apes and spider monkeys. There are still more different kinds of monkeys, so many I can't even count. But there is actually more to monkeys than some people think. They're not just cute and cuddly. And in my page I will tell you everything.
Did you know that monkey moms actually don't take care of their young? They have nurses and they are the ones who take care of the babies. Also,monkeys actually groom their babies and mothers, they pick the bugs out of each other and and eat the bugs. I find that gross even though I think they are cute. That has always been my favorite kind, ever since I was little and went to the Rio Grande Zoo my favirote place to go was the rain forest, because they were in there, so if you ever go to Albuquerque, New Mexico you should visit the Rio Grande Zoo. The smallest monkey that is known is the pygmy marmoset and it was 6 inches. then the largest monkey is a mandrill and its 36 inches. So they can run anywhere from 6-36 inches. If you ever want to know more about one certain monkey than you really should get some more info visiting other websites and looking in books. Find your favorite type and maybe even do it if you ever get to do a web page for your school, because you would really have some fun. Like I did.
