BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

LIFELIGHT BIBLE STUDY
Come join the Lifelight Bible Class Sunday mornings as we start a new study on the Gospel of Mark starting January 31st.  The Gospel of Mark emphasizes the deeds of Jesus as well as the centrality of the word in the ministry of Jesus and the effect of its authority on men. It is chiefly by Jesus’ works that He is marked as the Proclaimer and Bringer of the almighty grace of the kingdom of God, as the anointed King in whom man can trust, the Son of God in whom man can believe. The class meets in the east Parish Hall classroom at 9:45. Visitors always welcome.

PARISH HALL BIBLE STUDY
A Bible study on the Revelation of Jesus Christ as given to St. John the Apostle (
Revelation) during the Sunday Bible Growth time. Pastor Groeling will teach this often confusing book with a fresh understanding and perspective, bringing alive an under-standing of how God’s Grace works in a troubled time. If you have questions about this class, please speak to Pastor. The class meets in the main room of the Parish Hall, starting at 9:45 a.m.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed by life? Come join the Sunday morning women’s Bible study as we start our new Cynthia Heald study titled, "Becoming a Woman of Simplicity".

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY
We will be using
"Searching the Scripture" from past Lutheran Witness publications. If you are interested in trying out this small group Bible study, now would be the time to do so. Each session will be a complete topic with no carryover to the next meeting. Give it a try. We meet every other Thursday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Koschmann's. We end with dessert and fellowship from 8:30 - 9:00. Contact Al Koschmann if you are interested..

50TH ANNIVERSARY GIFT
In thankfulness to God for His faithfulness and blessings over the past 50 years the congregation will be replacing the piano in the front of the church. We praise God that we have a donor willing to match the congregation's gifts dollar for dollar up to $10,000. The estimated cost of the piano is $20,000. If you would like to donate to the 50th Anniversary Gift, you can make out a check to Christ Lutheran Church with the word "Piano" on the memo line and place it in the offering plate or drop it by the office.
