Thanks for being so patient with me as I gathered my thoughts all this time.
So, I've selected a topic which I think everyone can relate...stress. Was I right or was
I right. You can relate and I'll tell you why. "Stress is all around us." Dr. Mintle tells
in her book "Breaking Free From Stress." "It's in our relationships, our jobs, our studies,
the environment, and the list goes on. Because stress is envitable, we need to know what
to do with it when it hits." What resources do we have in dealing with stress? Dr. Mintle
says, "Resources can be things like money, education, intelligence, power, self-confidence
and other internal and external qualities." Her next statement is one that I LOVE!! "But as
a Christian, the most important resource for you is your relationship with Christ." Amen!
God is not limited by anthing! He is all-powerful. He can, and will, help you with your
stress. Begin by talking with Him about what's on your mind and heart. He cares. Better yet,
He's trustworthy. There's no way anyone will know what you tell Him. He won't share it with
another one of your friends, or make light of what you're going through. He will meet you
where you are. I tell you what, God loves you no matter what, deal with it! (From Pastor Dave
at 2006 Youth Quake). God's promises never run out and will never be broken. He's a God of
His word. So take some moments and talk with Him, any time, any day. Remember, He hand crafted
you and thinks the world of you, let Him help you in dealing with your stress. Feel free to
e-mail me your thoughts and prayer requests at Helgepost@msn.com. Until next time, God is good
all the time...All the time God is good. Peace, Leslie
