Other Parish Information

  • Visiting the Sick
    Please notify the Church Office (884-3876 x10) when someone is ill or hospitalized.  During this time without a permanent pastor, please contact your Lay Minister (see next item) about ministry needs.

  • Christ Lutheran School
    Our school provides a quality Christian education to children as young as 3 years old through eighth grade.  Families do not need to be members of Christ Lutheran Church to enroll.  Preschool classes include 2, 3 and 5 day per week programs which meet from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.  Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1 through 8 meet from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Extended care is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. all school days.  Registration for the next school year begins in February.  Contact the school office at 884-3876 x13 for more information.

  • Youth Ministry
    JOY, 6th-8th grades, CLY, 9th-12th grades. For more information call Leslie Helge at 884-3876 x34.

  • Choirs
    Singing Angels (children 1st-5th grade) - Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. meet in the church. Adult Choir - Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the balcony. Handbell Choir - Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the balcony.

  • Baptisms
    Baptism of infants and adults is a Sacrament of the church, commanded by Jesus Christ.  Please call the Church office (884-3876 x10) to make arrangements.

  • Holy Communion
    This Sacrament instituted by Christ and commanded for our benefit, is celebrated every Sunday, alternating services.  Private Communion will be administered by request; please contact the Church office (884-3876 x10) to make arrangements.

  • New Members
    Membership forms are available  from the Church office (884-3876 x10) or please talk with the Lay Ministers after the service.

  • Adult Confirmation
    Non-Lutherans who wish to become members of Christ Lutheran LCMS are encouraged to join instruction classes in which primary doctrines of the LCMS are emphasized and studied.  Members are encouraged to attend as well.  Call the Church office (884-3876 x10) for the next class offering.

  • Marriages
    Arrangements for the holy estate ordained by God are to be made at least four months in advance.  Please call the Church office (884-3876 x10).

  • Women's Guild
    The Guild consists of the Vesper Circle which meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. for a short business meeting and a Bible topic; New Beginnings Circle meets the 2nd Friday of the month at 9:30 a.m.  Various committees include: Outreach; a quilting group which meets every other Tuesday (watch the bulletin for dates) at 9 a.m.; the Honor Circle, senior ladies of 55+, which meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month for a social activity.  Other committees include: Tender Loving Care, LWML, Kitchen, Telephone, Garden, Publicity, Membership, Banner, Prayer Chain.  All ladies are invited and encouraged to become involved in the Christian fellowship among the women of Christ Lutheran Church.

  • Prayer Chain

  • Library
    Open every Sunday morning from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  It is located in the Parish Hall.  There are videos for children and family viewing; videos may be checked out for one week.  Also, a good variety of books in every category and material for Bible Study are available; books may  be checked out for two to three weeks.
